Hi-Rez Opens Realm Royale to More Potential Champions
Realm Royale’s open beta has finally made its way to consoles and Hi-Rez has included a bunch of new content to mark the occasion!
The “class-based fantasy battle royale” is free-to-play for all players across PC (on Steam and the Discord Store), PS4 and Xbox One now, and comes with a new “Mastery system” that allows players to unlock new abilities for each class. It also comes with two new guns, the assault rifle and the smg, which you can get a look at below!
The game’s second Battle Pass, “Steel and Shadow,” is also launching today and comes with 80 ninja and pirate themed rewards for players to unlock. It’s free for all PlayStation Plus and Discord Nitro members, which is as enticing as anything to give the game a shot! Hi-Rez is promising a “stable pipeline of new content entering the game,” including regularly scheduled Battle Passes throughout 2019.
Players who participated in the PC Alpha should keep their eyes peeled for exclusive “Founding Forgers” titles and avatars that will be sent out to them to “showcase your experience in the realm.”
