The Anthem VIP and Open Demo Are Starting Soon
The VIP Anthem demo kicks off on Friday, January 25th, but you might want to start downloading it now if you’re looking to jump in right away.
EA has released the demo client early for everyone to download on Xbox One, PS4, and PC via Origin. Whether or not you’re eligible to access the VIP demo, you can still preload the demo now. Remember, there will also be an open demo for Anthem beginning on February 1st and ending February 3rd. The VIP demo is only accessible if you’ve pre-ordered the game, have EA or Origin Access, or receive an invite code from someone who is eligible.
After the download is complete, you may launch the demo but since servers have yet to go live, you obviously won’t be able to play. The Xbox One and PS4 download are approximately 26GB while the PC is roughly 44GB.
If you’re eager to begin preloading on PC, you can head over to the Anthem Origin store page then click Try it First. This will add the demo to your library and queue the download. For console, PS4 and Xbox One players can find the demo at their respective product pages too to begin the download.
