The Brothers in Arms Series Comes to GOG
All three Brothers in Arms games are now available on GOG as DRM-free games, the games retail website announced recently. The site also currently has the entire tactical FPS trilogy on sale for $7.47 while each game is on sale for $2.49.
The first game in the series, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, follows the personal story of WW2 Sergeant Matt Baker and his unit in France during the 1944 Allied liberation of the country. The second game in the series, Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, is also about this time period but its protagonist is Baker’s friend, Sergeant Joe “Red” Hartsock.
The third and most recent game in the series, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway, is once again about Baker’s unit but this time they’re in the Netherlands during the massive September 1944 military operation, Operation Market Garden.
The CEO of the series’ developer, Gearbox Software, said last June that a sequel to Hell’s Highway is still in development but this has been the case for several years now and this sequel has never been publicly revealed.
