Wargroove’s Latest Trailer Highlights Gameplay

The Wargroove Devs Looking Forward Q1 2019 Launch

Wargroove, the turn-based strategy game from Chucklefish Games first appeared way back in the Feburary 2017 Nindies Sizzle Reel.  As the team is gearing up for the holidays and a Q1 launch in the new year, they’ve updated the dev blog with some updates and a brand new gameplay trailer.

The trailer features a great look at the games various combat methods, the overworld and the map editor. A large part of the appeal for Wargroove is the ability to customize and share maps with friends on top of the 50+ hours of established single player content. The new trailer was comes alongside the just launched Steam Coming Soon Page for those who are inclined to keep a never ending wish list of new titles.

Players who are looking forward to the game can also take the team’s Faction Quiz – which asks a variety of questions to help you determine which of the four warring factions from the game your personal ideals align with and offers a little bit more about each faction.

When all the fun and games are over, the devs also get down to business with localization info. Wargroove will be playable in 10 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and both Traditional &Simplified Chinese. While these languages are confirmed, not all of them may be ready for launch as the translation work is on going. The team also isn’t ruling out any other languages, but the 10 listed are what’s currently on the table.

With the holidays now here, 2019 is just around the corner. Wargroove is expected to launch sometime in Q1, for Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and XBox One.
