Skybound Games Details Partnership for Final Episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season
After Telltale games closed suddenly earlier this year, questions on the fate of The Walking Dead: The Final Season arose quite quickly, especially as the game began to vanish from certain platforms.
Skybound Games stepped in to finish the publication of the game, and announced today that in partnership with Epic Games, players will be able to grab The Walking Dead: The Final Season exclusively through the Epic Games Store.
What does this mean for players who’ve already purchased The Final Season through another venue, such as Steam? Not to worry, Skybound says, you’ll still get the final two episodes – the exclusivity means that players looking to start The Final Season from the start on PC will be making that purchase through the Epic Games Store.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s third episode titled “Broken Toys” is launching January 15th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch via the eShop and PC.
