Spider-Man’s ‘Turf Wars’ DLC Gets a New Trailer

Spider-Man Faces Off Against Hammerhead

A trailer for the next Marvel’s Spider-Man DLC, Turf Wars, came out on Tuesday and the DLC itself is scheduled to release next week on November 20th.

Here’s the official story premise:

“After gaining control of equipment left in the wake of Sable International’s military occupation, Hammerhead and his gang have declared war against the other Dons of the Maggia crime family. Spider-Man and Captain of the Police Department of New York Yuri Watanabe must put an end to the violence before the entire city erupts in a turf war.”

Turf Wars adds three new Spidey costumes, new enemy bases, and new challenges, according to Sony.

This upcoming DLC is the second chapter of the DLC roadmap for Marvel’s Spider-Man and the next chapter, Silver Lining, comes out next month in December. All three chapters can be purchased together in a season pass for $24.99 or individually for $9.99.

We reviewed the first chapter of the roadmap, The Heist, and weren’t too impressed with it.

“I loved the idea of pursuing Black Cat’s storyline, and while I don’t need much excuse to play more Spider-Man, I didn’t feel like this DLC offered much in the way of excitement or variety,” our reviewer wrote. “I felt this chapter was unimaginative in its features, and for $10 a pop, I didn’t feel compelled enough to want more.”
