Hitman 2 Easter Egg Unlocks an Exciting Ride on a Dolphin
Hitman 2 was released earlier this month and has been received incredibly well so far, currently sitting at an 83 on Metacritic. As more people join in the action more Easter eggs are being discovered and though there are a few good ones, this latest one that includes a dolphin, might just be the best one yet!
A Youtuber by the name of Martinoz, recently uploaded a video of this Easter egg, where everyone’s favourite assassin, Agent 47, flees from the Miami mission on the back of a dolphin. Though this isn’t exactly the exit you’d think he would make after killing both his targets, it’s pretty damn cool. According to the Youtube video, players have to complete the Miami mission in just the right way in order to unlock this awesome little exit, and thankfully they’ve given everyone a walkthrough to follow. You can check it out below.
If you’re planning on completing the Easter egg, you can follow these steps, all of which are outlined in the video above:
1)Become part of the rival pit crew and sneak off into the security office that’s nearby. Once there, you’ll find a hidden code for the safe that hides a car bomb.
2)Take out a Kronstadt mechanic to steal his uniform. Once wearing the uniform, attach the discovered bomb to Sierra Knox’s car.
3)During these two steps, don’t forget to steal a fish. As weird as that sounds however it’s fairly easy as there’s a bunch of them in the kitchen.
4)Call over Robert Knox to let him know that the Sierra bomb has been planted. Once he knows, he’ll meet you on the walkway just above the race track. Hand him the detonator and he’ll take out the first target, his own daughter, for you.
5)Following this, you can push him off the walkway to his death, which should go off without a hitch and you’ll be in the clear to leave and find the exit without any commotion.
6)Find the dolphin statue right outside of Kronstadt’s headquarters. From here you’ll need to view the statue from a very particular spot in the building’s entryway, on the steps. You’ll also need to be holding the aforementioned fish, because why else would you need it, right?
7)Once there, step on the second large tile from the right, then step to the furthest right large tile, then the furthest left one, then the large tile above the left one, then the middle large one closest to the steps themselves, and finally, the tile closest to the statue. This sequence will unlock an exit symbol and allow you to ride to freedom on the back of the dolphin!
