God of War Was One of the Most Successful Games of 2018

God of War follows series protagonist Kratos, who’s departed from a Greece that was left in ruins (which was all his fault, by the way) for a mythical Norse realm (which he hasn’t ruined…yet). This time Kratos has a son to take care of and wants to accomplish a single goal: spread the ashes of his recently deceased wife from the highest peak in the realm.
Though the series is more well-known for its brutal combat than for having a compelling narrative, this entry has been praised for its story and it even got nominated for Best Narrative for this year’s The Game Awards.
Our review of the game awarded it a score of 95 out of 100 and described it as the best game in the series.
