Install Hell Much Earlier Than Expected
It looks like Capcom is just as excited as fans are for the upcoming Devil May Cry sequel, as pre-loading seems to already be available on Xbox One.
Multiple users across reddit, ResetEra and even Gamespot have confirmed that those who pre-ordered Devil May Cry 5 on Xbox One found it installing along with all of it’s DLC five months ahead of it’s release. The file size clocks in at 29.75 GB, and attempting to launch the game prompts a message saying that the game isn’t available to play just yet, which makes sense. Capcom has yet to comment on the bizarre-but-not-bad situation, but we’ll let you know as soon as they do.
In other recent Devil May Cry news, Capcom recently announced a new training mode called The Void at XO18, and a particularly expensive collector’s edition was revealed at the end of last month.
Devil May Cry 5 launches March 8th, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Let us know if you’ll be pre-downloading it eons in advance in the comments and keep it locked to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
