Sinnoh’s Most Haunting Monsters Join Pokemon GO Today
Niantic is unleashing this year’s Halloween event for Pokemon GO today, which introduces a couple more monsters from the Sinnoh region and candy bonuses!
Kicking off at 1pm PDT/4pm EDT, the event will see Gen 4 legendary Giratina appear in raid battles until November 20th, along with Drifloon and Stunky coming to the tall grass near you. Trainers will also earn double candy for every ‘mon caught between today at the event start time and November 1st. Some spooky new threads will also be available in the avatar store including a Gengar Backpack and a Drifloon Cap.
Additionally, a limited-time Special Research event will give players a chance to score themselves a Spiritomb.
In other recent Pokemon GO news, Niantic started implementing monsters from Generation 4 earlier this month, and Nintendo gave the low-down on how transfers will work between GO and the upcoming Let’s GO titles for the Nintendo Switch.
