Hitman 2’s First Elusive Target Revealed To Be Sean Bean

Hitman 2 Launches Next Month on November 13th

The first Elusive Target for the upcoming stealth game Hitman 2 was revealed on Wednesday to be Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean playing a former MI5 agent named Mark Faba.

Faba will enter Agent 47’s crosshairs in the game’s Miami level on November 20th and will be an available target for 10 days, according to an official press release.

“Bean will take on the role of Mark Faba, a former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin,” read the press release. “Notoriously known as ‘The Undying’, Faba’s reputation as a master of faking his own death is second to none, ultimately causing the International Contract Agency (ICA) to put an imposing bounty on his head.”

Bean described his role in Hitman 2 as “exciting” and added that he’s looking “forward to seeing my character in action when the Elusive Target mission launches.”

Here’s the official rundown on how Elusive Targets work, per the press release:

“In Hitman 2, Elusive Targets are unique, high-stakes contracts that are only available for a limited time. These missions are free for all players, allowing one chance to assassinate the target and if not successfully completed, the contract cannot be retried.”
