And A Lot Of Cheesy English Dialogue
I admit to a fondness, even a weakness, for cheesy story elements in anime games. The newest trailer for God Eater 3 has this stuff in spades. The trailer also comes with a release date for the western version of the game! God Eater 3 is coming to PC and PS4 on February 8th, 2019.
It shames me to admit I have utterly missed this series up till now. The story follows a group of beautiful, doomed warriors as they use biomechanical weapons to murder and consume the Aragami that are chewing up the planet. The gameplay is a bit like Monster Hunter, albeit with a few alterations.
You can check out the trailer below, in all of its cheesy glory. If you must lament the end of human civilization, best to do so with style, seriousness and baseless intensity. The Japanese version of the game will be out in December, which will give you plenty of time to soak up more gameplay footage before the western release. I for one will be eagerly awaiting more information leading up to February, by which I mean more hilarious/amazing dialogue. There’s just something magical about a scenery-chewing English dub.
