See What’s What Ahead of Release
With SoulCalibur VI coming out next month, Bandai Namco will want the launch to run as smooth as possible. To that end, a network stress test was very briefly announced (the tweet was hastily deleted) for next week. From September 28-30, players will be able to put the game through its paces.
Specifically, players will have access to 15 characters and nine stages on PS4 and Xbox One. You’ll be able to download the game in preparation on September 27th. No word yet on which characters and stages will be available for the Network Test, but here’s hoping Geralt of Rivera will be among their number.
We’ve seen some gameplay footage already, along with a few members of the roster (aside from Geralt). Now to patiently wait until the game’s release on October 19th. Assuming that deleted tweet was legit, we’ll at least get some hands-on time with the game before then.
