PUBG Might Finally Be on Its Way to PS4
A South Korean game rating board rated PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for the PlayStation 4 this month. The board classified PUBG as “Not for Youth” due to its “Excessive violence expression”.
The battle royale shooter hasn’t been officially announced for PS4 so this is likely a leak. It’s also unconfirmed whether or not this will be a beta or a full game launch.
The game had a full product release on Xbox One earlier in September but it was in the Xbox Game Preview Program for several months.
If PUBG really is coming to PS4 then it’ll have some stiff competition in Fortnite and H1Z1. The former is a direct competitor while the latter has a large player base on Sony’s current-gen console. There’s also the fact that upcoming games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V will also have battle royale modes.
