It’s a Fast-Paced Spectacle
If you told me that the PlayStation 4 Pro would run the RE Engine at 4K 60 FPS, I would have called you a fanboy. But Matt Walker, producer at Capcom and hype man extraordinaire, has confirmed that Devil May Cry V will bolster top performance on the Sony console.
Though Devil May Cry V may have to utilize checkerboard rendering (because native 4K is hard to achieve), the difference in visuals is hard to detect. Besides, I think many more players will be awed by that fact that the game runs as 60 fps. Clearly, Capcom’s RE engine is making some serious headway in console performance. It will be interesting to see how the PS4 Pro’s performance stacks to its competitor in the Xbox One X. Either way, everyone has a demonic spectacle to look forward to.
It will indeed. 4k@60fps on Pro. ^_^

In recent news, Capcom revealed that Devil May Cry V will have microtransactions: players will be able to spend money to upgrade characters. In addition, the publisher all but confirmed that the game will include multiplayer for 1-3 players. We’re still awaiting updates on what, exactly, that will look like. While we wait, let us know your thoughts on the latest revelation.
