Black Ops 4 Launches Next Month
A new trailer for the battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, titled “Blackout” mode, was recently uploaded. Go ahead and check it out below!
Blackout will have 80 players facing off against each other in a fight to the death. According to Treyarch, there were internal tests of the mode that featured 100 players but the upcoming private beta for Blackout (which launches next week and ends on the 17th) will have 80 players. Those who want to participate in the beta will have to pre-order the game so that they can get a beta code.
This private beta “will provide valuable user feedback and data” for Treyarch and it starts on different dates for the platforms that Black Ops 4 will come out for on October 12th.
On PS4, it starts on September 10th while on the PC & Xbox One it’ll start on the 14th. The private beta will end on September 17th.
Earlier this week, Call of Duty’s rival this year, Battlefield V, officially unveiled their own battle royale mode, titled “Firestorm”. In Firestorm, 16 teams of four players fight against each other “in the largest Battlefield map ever.”
