Rage 2 Gets an Exciting New Trailer During QuakeCon 2018
Spring 2019 seems like a really long time to wait for the highly anticipated sequel: Rage 2. Thankfully, Bethesda has made the wait just a little bit easier by dropping an extended gameplay trailer during their keynote at QuakeCon 2018. If you’re expecting big, explosive action within a massive open world, this trailer is the gift that keeps on giving.
The last time we got to see some crazy Rage 2 action was at E3 2018 and considering that was two months ago, this new trailer definitely scratches the itch. This new trailer is an extended version of the gameplay we saw at E3, however it gives is an even closer look at different enemy factions, like the Goon Squad, in-game vehicles, targeting systems, and new combat mechanics! Here’s the description of the video from Bethesda themselves, “The QuakeCon 2018 Keynote brought us a delight of new RAGE 2 footage. It’s got everything. A big, beautiful, seamless open world. Explosions. Vehicle combat. Explosions. Sick powers. Explosions. In addition to providing an extended look at the world of RAGE 2 (have we mentioned explosions yet?), the QuakeCon footage also showed off the game’s massive and monstrous convoys for the first time.” You can check out this sweet new trailer below.
Rage 2 is expected to release in June of next year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s the official game description, “In the year 2185, humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule who remains with an iron fist. You are Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland. Robbed of your home and left for dead, you’ll tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling bloodthirsty gangs to find the tools and tech needed to take the fight to The Authority and crush their oppressive rule once and for all!”
