A New Challenger Appears!
Announced during E3, the crossover event between Final Fantasy 14 and Monster Hunter World kicks off today with the first phase seeing the former’s Behemoth come to Capcom’s best-selling game ever.
The “standard version” of the battle with Behemoth comes to Monster Hunter World today, with an “extreme difficulty” version coming later this month on August 24th (til September 6th) and will grant players with layered Drachen armor and a guild card title.
Capcom also took the opportunity to announce two new upcoming events featuring Arch Tempered Teostra and Kushala. Teostra will be around from August 10th to 23rd, and Kushala will arrive in September. Both will reward players with gamma(y) armor sets.
Along with the update comes the regular patch notes with a ton of fixes and alterations surrounding weapons and QOL, which you can check out here.
