The World Map for Spider-Man Is Massive as Shown in New Reveal
Just a few short days ago, during Sony’s E3 presentation we got to see a brand new demo for Spider-Man which officially unveiled the Sinister Six. If Spider-Man wasn’t one of the most anticipated games of the year before the demo, it certainly is now. And with the anticipation for the open world action game comes an abundance of questions, including this one: how big will the playable area of New York be?
As it turns out E3 2018 was the best place to find that answer. Spider-Man was available as a playable demo and while it restricted the area of play to specific, pre-set boundaries, this didn’t stop some fans from figuring out just how big the world map is going to be. And if you weren’t sure what to expect, it’s going to be huge!
Though Peter Parker won’t be web-slinging around Central Park of the Islands that are shown on the map, there is still a lot of New York available to play, and that is pretty damn exciting. Plus, it looks like this is the biggest map Insomniac Games has ever made. You can check out the two pictures below which show off just how big the map is, including one where Spider-Man is perched high in the sky looking down at the city.
Spider-Man launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4 September 7th, 2018. Are you excited for this huge world map to web-sling around in? Is Spider-Man on your list of must-have games this year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
