Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Will Be Playable at E3 2018

Treyarch Will Showcase Multiplayer for 3 Days

Faster than the speed of ragequitting, E3 is on its way to LA and live streams everywhere. With that in mind, every company and its subsidiary is sending invitations, including Activision. According to the gaming giant, fans will have access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 at this year’s expo.

As one of the most anticipated games coming this year, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is expected to have a big presence offstage and onstage at E3. Apparently, the game will be playable on the ground floor. Invitations confirm the presence of the IP, alongside devs who will be around to showcase the experience. Emails have already been sent, confirmed via tweet, inviting players to spend time with the Treyarch team.

Unconfirmed, we don’t know if attendees will have access to any mode beyond multiplayer PvP. Specifically, there’s no telling whether or not players will have access to Zombies co-op or the new battle royale experience. At the very least, we may see the rumored Nuketown map make a return. However, if you’re attending E3 and really want to try your hand at the latest iteration, this event will provide the earliest opportunity. Our own Garrett Drake was present at the keynote reveal, where he played an early build of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. By his account, “The Same Old Is New Again.”
