Life is Strange Meets Memento in This Story Driven Adventure
Playstation and Bandai Namco teamed up to announce a new investigative thriller from Dontnod, the developer of Life is Strange and Vampyr today titled Twin Mirror.
The game follows a man named Sam who returns home to Basswood, West Virgina, for the funeral of his best friend while coping with the fallout of his recently failed romantic relationship. The next day, Sam awakens with a shirt covered in blood and no memory of the night before, launching the character into a race against time to find the truth through his own memories, choices, and relationships with the people of his hometown.
Unfortunately there’s no futher details on the game, but Twin Mirror is due in 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Considering it was announced on the Playstation blog, it’s safe to assume we may hear more about it during Sony’s conference this coming Sunday.
Are you excited for the Dontnod mystery thriller? Let us know in the comments! Personally, it reminds me quite a bit of Momento, the Christopher Nolan directed mystery thriller told in reverse, which I can’t recommend enough, especially for fans of the mystery genre. Be sure to check out our review of Dontnod’s most recent outing, Vampyr, and the new Days Gone trailer and release date that Sony dropped yesterday!
