God of War & The Donkey Kong Switch Port Are Both Selling Strong!
Lately, it seems like nothing can stop Sony’s latest exclusive God of War. It’s received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike and it’s been selling extremely well too. According to the latest sales chart, the heartfelt action game about a grumpy man and his small son has topped the UK sales chart for the fourth week in a row.
However, God of War isn’t the only game that’s been selling well recently. The Switch port of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has had the second place spot on the UK sales chart for two weeks in a row and is reportedly selling pretty well in Japan too. We recently had a review for the Switch port of Tropical Freeze and called it “an absolute home run from Nintendo.”
Meanwhile, Far Cry 5 has been alternating between the top spot and a spot in the top three on the UK sales chart for weeks now. Early last month, it reportedly sold an estimated 5 million copies.
Other than all that, there’s not much else news to be gleaned from the latest UK sales chart aside from Assassin’s Creed Origins coming making a surprise appearance at the eighth spot last week despite being a game that came out six months ago. Notably, two weeks ago it was at the 17th spot.
