Battlefield Could Be Heading Back to the Second World War!
The full reveal for Battlefield V is supposed to be coming later this week on Wednesday but the official Battlefield Twitter account tweeted a very short teaser clip on Monday.
Shhh… not long now.

If you can’t play the video then don’t worry, you’re really not missing much! All that’s seen is an NPC looking down at the player and putting their fingers on their lips in a “shhh”-ing motion. The clip appears to be from the game’s multiplayer mode since there is a match timer at the top of the HUD along with what looks like player “tickets” that are used for respawning.
A Twitter user noticed that the icons for the two factions fighting each other are the Union Jack and the insignia of the Wehrmacht, Nazi Germany’s army during WW2.
This matches up with previous reporting about Battlefield V being set in the Second World War.
It is currently unknown what new features will be added to this upcoming Battlefield installment but its been reported that its developers have been prototyping a Battle Royale mode.
