Fan-Favorite Anime Meets Best-Selling Mobile JRPG
Mobile gaming title Grand Summoners is kicking its roster up a notch with the introduction of characters from famed anime series Kill La Kill. Players can download today and play as powerful heroines Ryuko, Satsuki, and Mako.
For those of you who are new to the IP, Grand Summoners is a mobile JRPG developed by NextNinja for iPhone, Android, and iPad. The experience is directed by the same brain matter that brought us Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Brave Frontier. Needless to say, there’s talent there, which is expanding the property and apparently breaking dimensional walls. Alongside the new anime characters, expect a complimentary storyline in which they assume starring roles.
“Featuring Ryuko, Satsuki, and Mako from the fan-favorite anime KILL la KILL, our first-ever global collaboration is sure to thrill players whether they’re newcomers to the game, fans of the anime, or part of the Grand Summoners community,” said Yamagishi Masayuki, Producer, NextNinja, Co. Ltd. “By using the KILL la KILL units, players will have their item drop rate increased. This is a great way for our players to get some of the new limited items available during the collaboration.”
In this new collaboration, players will face dimension-traveling “Life Fibers” who are overtaking life in the lush forests of Raktehelm. The three heroines from KILL la KILL suddenly appear in an apparent rupture in the time-space fabric, causing players to wonder if they are friend or foe to the heroes of the Grand Summoner. Packed with hours of time-limited exclusive gameplay, players can satisfy their KILL la KILLfandom while also discovering the rich gameplay and story of Grand Summoners.
You have until May 16th to download and play Kill La Kill’s Ryuko, Satsuki, and Mako. Since this new event sets a precedent, we can probably expect more anime characters cutting their way into Grand Summoners. To learn more about this event and the mobile game, you can visit the official website. Keep it locked as updates come our way. Until then and beyond,
Happy gaming.
