Ubisoft’s Latest Open-World Game Is Still Selling Strong!
Far Cry 5, an open-world FPS set in modern day rural Montana, has taken the gaming world by storm. Last week, the Ubisoft game was reported to have already sold an estimated five million copies and last week it topped the UK sales chart for the third week in a row.
Far Cry 5 has received great reviews and, if you’re interested in buying it, you can read our review of the game here. There was also an update for Far Cry 5 that was launched last week. The update fixes several of the game’s bugs and its performance.
Speaking of Far Cry 5, we recently posted an article that focused on “the struggle” of having to choose between buying Far Cry 5 and God of War. If you’re leaning towards a God of War purchase then you can read our extensive review of it here. We gave God of War a nearly perfect score!
“God of War isn’t just a great God of War game, it’s the best so far,” our God of War review read. “Sony Santa Monica has clearly put love into this latest title of the series and given both longtime fans and newcomers a monumental gaming achievement. Put your fears to rest – yes, Kratos is getting older, but even after all this time, he’s better than ever.”
Some other chart news: Sea of Thieves dropped from the third place spot it had two weeks ago to the sixth spot on the sales chart last week. Rare, the developers of Sea of Thieves, recently announced that there will be several free updates that’ll be coming out for the game later this year.
Our review for Sea of Thieves wasn’t very positive but if you’re thinking about purchasing the open-world pirate game then it makes for an informative read.
