New Datamining Shows That Orcs in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Will Be Able to Stand Upright

Orcs Will Be Joining the Trolls as the Next World of Warcraft Race Without Back Problems

New information found thanks to some datamining by Icy Veins shows that any Orc players out there will be able to customise their World of Warcraft character after a quick trip to the Barber/Chiropractor, which are found in every major city.

World of Warcraft Orc

Having been an avid World of Warcraft player for over a decade now, the male Orcs have been hunched over for as long as I can remember. Having terrible back problems is almost a staple for the Horde players, as even the Trolls and Undead had horrendous posture. There were a few major Orc NPCs that got a fancy makeover and a new spine, and even the Trolls are getting a new sub-race with perfect posture, but the Orc player-base had to suffer in silence.

Now, however, when Battle for Azeroth launches, we Orcs will be ascending to the realms of perfect posture. Thanks to those magical Goblin barbers, any Orc players out there will be able to visit their local barbershop and get some chiropractic work done alongside their trim. The models for the new Orcs were posted on the Icy Veins forums, and give you a good idea as to what the Orcs of the future will be looking like.

Here’s what they found:

As I play a rogue, I was excited to see what mine would look like in my favourite armour set:

And in case you’ve already forgotten, here’s what they currently look like:

New players will also be able to customise their Orcs in the character creation screen, which means this isn’t an overruling change for all Orcs; you can still have your boy hunched over if you’d prefer.

Any Orc players out there that’re looking forward to this? Let us know!
