Bandai Namco Reveals Their Collaboration with CD Projekt RED
Not too long ago insiders confirmed that Geralt of Rivia would appear in the next installment of Soulcalibur. Afterward, CD Projekt RED confirmed that the Witcher would be in a game outside of his own realm. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before Bandai Namco officially announced The Witcher 3′s Geralt of Rivia for Soulcalibur VI. Like in previous installments, the renown fighting game is accepting guest characters, and today brings a favorite.
A new trailer showcases The White Wolf in the multiverse of sword-wielders. You can catch an extensive glimpse of Witcher Geralt’s move set and special abilities. Aside from wielding his sword like a master, he can use magical Signs as seen in the games by CD Projekt RED. Have a look at how he fairs against enemies from other worlds, which is something he’s used to.
As a superhuman sword wielder from a supernatural world, casting Geralt in this game seemed sensible on Bandai Namco’s part. Since they had worked with CD Projekt RED in the past, it was all the more likely.
In case you didn’t notice, the new map in the trailer is none other than Kaer Mohren, the Witcher stronghold. Now that we have a new map and new character, maybe we can expect more interesting surprises. A few doozies might appear in the days leading up to release. Since there’s been no specific release date announced, however, expect many more reveals as times goes by.
