Seek Out And Assemble Your Brethren
Sometimes being a gamer is a lonely, weird little life. If you’ve spent most or any of your gaming years in a state of relative solitude, perhaps this app will appeal to you? GameUp is launching a Kickstarter campaign this April in order to solve your human connection problems.
The app proposes to let gamers connect both in real life and online. Forming said connections will let people meet up for things like casual gaming, competitive outings and even full-blown eSports. Maybe you’re the sort of gamer with an extensive social circle, but this isn’t always the case. I know my own list of gaming friends (as a child at least) was pretty short. Perhaps with an app like this one, I could have had a whole army of fellow gamers in my life.
Originally set to begin today, the Kickstarter officially launches on April 10th, 2018. As an added bonus, curious players will be able to snag an Early Access version of the app through said Kickstarter campaign. It won’t be the final product by any means, but it’s still a great way to rally together support for this delightful idea. If you’re interested, you can follow the project on the company’s various social media channels.
