A New Kind of Trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 Would Be Wild
We’re faced with a bit of a Rockstar drought. Last year, we got the reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2 and have heard very little, since. However, the latest piece of news says we might actually get a live-action trailer for the game. While this is not RockStar’s style, a live-action trailer would probably serve a new means of raising hype levels. The Wild West is a fascinating history piece, after all. And it just might hook people to the next level of excitement before release.
Our evidence for the live-action trailer comes from a found set-piece in the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana. A film crew was, reportedly, filming two cowboys fighting in a village with a train in the background. All of this was being done for a Wild West-themed game, according to the producer; not simply a game but a sequel to a well-established franchise. Naturally, he couldn’t say more.
If that’s the case, the possibilities are endless, right? How many studios can afford a quality live-action trailer for a Wild West-themed franchise that’s already established? Â This is a serious question. Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
As usual, nothing is confirmed until it’s confirmed, so take everything with a grain of salt. But if you want to make sure you stay updated on all the latest Red Dead Redemption 2 news, be sure to check back with COGconnected. There’s a lot more to come.
