A Multiplayer Experience Like No Other Fighting Game
Just when we thought the Injustice 2 experience couldn’t expand any further, NetherRealm releases more info. According to their latest video, the multiplayer experience will expand with guilds and a multiverse. There are now more ways to earn experience and gear; sne is by forging alliances online so that everyone benefits. Also, there’s more news on the game’s story. See it in the video below – “Everything You Need To Know.”
Judging by everything we’ve seen thus far, Injustice 2 is aiming for longevity. Basically, NetherRealm Studios wants an active online community; at the very least, they’re facilitating one. They have tried this before with Mortal Kombat X by establishing the Faction War. However, the online play is more attractive this time because of the gear system. There will be more ways to get equipment and customize our favorite characters. That includes abilities and appearance.
Furthermore, the multiplayer experience of Injustice 2 seems more focused and dynamic than any other fighting game. “Multiverse Challenges” weekly, daily, and hourly are perfect for anyone who is constantly seeking rewards and competition. And the new guild system makes it easier for friends to cooperate, as well as let players make new friends. If only there were tag team matches, Injustice 2 might be the perfect game.
Injustice 2 releases for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th. Everything said, we may be looking at NetherRealm’s best experience yet. Let us know your thoughts on the game and new video below. What are you looking forward to most?
