Travel To Ancient Greece In Guru Games’ VR Horror
Just in case the horror of exploring ancient Greek ruins and encountering terrifying creatures wasn’t enough, now you can try doing it in virtual reality! Guru Games, the developer of Medusa’s Labyrinth, announced the release date of their widely popular first person horror title on Oculus Touch and HTC Vive, coming May 25th. Players will explore the ruins of ancient Greece while trying to survive encounters with horrifying mythological creatures and discover the secrets of the ruins themselves, using only stealth and what few resources the game has to offer you.
Daniel Strom, the CEO of Guru Games, commented on the announcement: “We were thrilled with the response Medusa’s Labyrinth received from players and critics last year when it launched on PC, and it seems like a natural progression to release it on VR for that fully immersive, terrifying experience.”
Medusa’s Labyrinth currently holds an 81% positive rating on Steam, being recognized for its graphics, atmosphere, setting, and general premise. It is currently for free on Steam, whereas the VR version is set to launch for $9.99. For more information, check out the official website.
Guru Games is an award winning indie developer that currently operates as a four-person studio. They are previously known for their 2015 first person puzzler Magnetic: Cage Closed, and are since recognizable for 2016’s Medusa’s Labyrinth.
