Savvy Players Can Get Started in the Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Expansion as Early as May 22nd
Looking to get started on the newest expansion for Elder Scrolls Online? Well, good news! You’ve got a chance to start playing The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind early! All you have to do is buy the right version of the game.
Bethesda is releasing several versions of the new expansion. While new players will be stuck with the standard June 6th launch date, existing players can get in on May 22nd. That’s two extra weeks in Vvardenfell for questing and crafting and killing!
So long as you purchase the digital upgrade or either version of the collector’s edition you’ll be eligible to start early. Any progression earned during this early access period will be retained once the game goes live in June. If you’re merely waiting to upgrade then take heart! Your time until you can start exploring the expansion is shorter than you realize. Between now and the early access date is just short of two weeks. Pre-ordering the game in this fashion also gives you access to a variety of in-game rewards. There are pets, mounts, emotes and armor options to be had. If you’re a new player looking to get into the ESO environment, perhaps these two weeks can be used to get started on the rest of the available content? Either way, the full release for the Morrrowind expansion launches on June 6th, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
