Xbox Game Pass Alpha to End Soon, but Are You Ready for the Real Deal?

We May Be Looking at 100 Playable Games Sooner Than Expected

Unfortunately for some, the alpha version of Xbox Game Pass will be wrapping up soon. The alpha gave Xbox insiders a chance to test Microsoft’s latest subscription service, one that will give players access to an exclusive library of 100 plus games including Xbox exclusives. Effectively, it will end April 28th, according to a message on the Xbox Insider app.

But, there was another part of the message that brought us a welcome tidbit:

“Your feedback has been invaluable and will make the service better for all gamers… We’re getting close to launch and Xbox Game Pass will be available for all gamers later this Spring.”

Looks like the alpha did its job. Now that Microsoft has its tester data, they will be able to deliver Xbox Game Pass without much of a delay.

While Xbox Game Pass doesn’t have a release date, it’s very likely we’ll see it in May. With E3 in June, Microsoft’s windows are limited. But once the service does arrive, Xbox One owners will get access to games like Halo 5: Guardians, NBA 2K16Mad Max, and more.

Check back to see when you can subscribe. And feel free to drop a comment down below letting us know your thoughts and anticipation for the new service. Do you think you will purchase day one?
