Explosive New Digimon Trailer Gives Us a Glimpse of What’s to Come

Bandai Namco released the announcement teaser trailer for the upcoming PS4 and PSVita exclusive Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory

This new game is set during the events of the previous title and narrates the story of Keisuke Amazawa. Here’s the character’s outline: An “EDEN Account” is your access key to cyberspace, as well as your personal identification. Keisuke Amazawa’s EDEN Account is hacked, and he is falsely accused of account raiding that he knows nothing about. In order to look for the criminal that tricked him, he becomes a hacker and starts an investigation.

This trailer gives us the first glimpses at some of the new Digital Monsters added to the game such as Coelamon, Triceramon, and Hippogriffmon. As previously reported, Hacker’s Memory will have around 320 Digital Monsters in total, meaning 73 new added Digimon as well as 30 new maps.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will come out in Europe and North America in early 2018. Japan will receive the game later this year. If you have never played the previous title, perhaps our in-depth review can help you decide.
