Play Inside, The Witness, and Event[0] in April’s Humble Monthly

Big Indie Hits Highlight Humble Monthly Lineup in April

The Humble Monthly lineup of games have been announced for April, and they’re a great mix of 2016’s indie hits. First off, these games will available to those who subscribed to the Humble Monthly service before April 7th. At $12 a month, it’s definitely a steal. Once you grab the games, they stay with you for good too. Without further ado, here’s the mighty lineup for the Humble Monthly bundle in April:

  • Inside
  • Dirt Rally
  • The Witness
  • Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition
  • Black Mesa
  • Kingdom: New Lands Royal Edition
  • Event[0]
  • Tumblestone
  • Slime-san (Debut)
  • Jawns (Humble Original)

Humble Monthly

The coup de grace here may very well be the indie darling, Inside, a game we reviewed and thought it was a no-brainer if you enjoyed the studio’s Limbo. If you’re into puzzles, then you’ve probably heard of Jonathan Blow’s The Witness, a game which we called “the pinnacle of puzzle perfection”. Besides that, Event[0] is another stand-out hit for being a game focused on chatting with an emotional A.I.named Kaizen to escape a seemingly empty spaceship. We reviewed this one too and thought the setting and main mechanic was handled quite well. Plus, what other game lets you ask an A.I., “Can jet fuel can really melt steel beams?”.

Another cool tidbit about Humble Monthly’s package is that they also include exclusive games that you can only play if you’re subscribed. For April, players will get to play Jawns, a game that’s described as “a reimagined classic strategy boardgame right out of Philly.”

Lastly, subscribing to Humble Monthly bundle has another lovely feature as 5% of the profits goes towards sponsoring a different charity each month. For April, it’s Watsi, a nonprofit healthcare crowdsourcing platform.

So do take a look at the lineup here, and do consider subscribing for May’s Humble Monthly to play for the greater good.
