We Are Witnessing the Last of Dark Souls 3 and the Supposed End of a Franchise
We are nearing the arrival of Dark Souls 3’s 2nd and last DLC, “The Ringed City,” marking the end of a franchise. Some might lament and many will make the most of Miyazaki’s latest content. See what lies in store with mystery after mystery that slowly unravels the world of Dark Souls:
Per usual, gameplay lets players link together fragments of the story. It is up to you to find out how the DLC connects to the lore at large. But this can only be done after facing down what might be the greatest challenges of Dark Souls 3. New bosses with surprising techniques deliver another great hurdle for players. Assuming you don’t rage-quit, the ending may provide a revelation for the franchise.
Along with new levels and bosses, expect new weapons to compliment various builds. The trailer offered a simple tease, but that’s all we need. It is not a Dark Souls game without unpleasantly surprising level design, epic fights, and awesome weaponry.
