‘Skylar & Plux’ Brings 90’s Buddy Platformers Back to PC, Xbox One and PS4

Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island Coming March 2017

Currently in development by indie studio Right Nice Games and Grip Digital, Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island is a passionate revival of the legendary 3D platformer genre with classic gameplay, playful gadgets, and a lighthearted story set in a gorgeous, colorful world reminiscent of our childhood adventures. Think Banjo Kazooie, Jak & Daxter or Ratchet and Clank and you’re on the right path. In the new trailer, you can check out three powerful upgrades giving the player new abilities. Explore the island with the freedom-boosting Jetpack, uncover its mysterious past with the puzzling Time Orb, and grab various metallic objects and use them as an advantage with the Magnetic Glove.

You play as the brave Skylar, a young female space-feline caught in the middle of a robotic overlord’s exploitation of a peaceful world. This robotic menace, known as the CRT, kidnapped our heroine and wiped her memory in an attempt to reconstruct her into a super weapon. She wields a weaponized mechanical arm, packing an enormous amount of punching power. Breaking out from CRT’s space station with the help of a mysterious benefactor, Skylar crashes down on Clover Island and teams up with the equal parts goofy and witty owl Plux.
