If you have been keeping up to date on all things Legend of Zelda, this screenshot comes shortly after the video clip of Link riding down a mountain on his shield was revealed last week. Set to explore the wilds of Hyrule, it is unclear how often players might encounter a similar atmosphere in game as the open world game layout could lead players on an adventure through various terrains in the wilderness.

While Nintendo has not revealed how often fans will be shown glimpses into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we are certainly grateful for the many we’ve been given over the relatively short period of time. These sneak peeks have included trailers, screenshots and concept art images.

Zelda

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to release sometime in 2017, however an exact date has not been announced yet. The title is supposed to be the most open world Zelda game to date, with even more content and space than ever before. It looks like Nintendo is trying to breath new life into Zelda, taking cues from Skyrim in the process. The official website for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild states that equipping the right gear is more important than it has ever been. Boasting over “100 Shrines of Trials to discover and explore,” players will need to work their way through the traps within in an attempt to earn special items and various rewards.

Even though The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is rumored to miss the launch date of the Nintendo Switch, it will be available on WiiU next year. Keep it locked for all of the latest updates leading up to the game release!
