BioShock Trilogy Added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? Is an Xbox One owner not entitled to be able to play his Xbox 360 games on his shiny new console? One of the best trilogies of all time (well two out of three ain’t bad) has now become available to the current generation via Xbox One Backward Compatibility. BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite are all available right now without the need to go and purchase the BioShock: The Collection that was released not all that long ago.
Over the past month or so we’ve seen some amazing games enter the Xbox One Backward Compatibility lineup with Burnout Paradise, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and even the entire Mass Effect Trilogy. The addition of the BioShock games bolsters what is already a solid list of games that Xbox One owners can play from the last generation.
These are likely to be the last of the big games announced for the program in 2016 but you never know what surprises Microsoft may have in store before year-end. Regardless, the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program has proven to be one of the best perks of owning the Xbox One console.
Are there any games missing that you’d love to see added to the program? Let us know in the comments below!
