Leaked PS4 Pro Videos Show Hard Drive Swapping, Mechanical Buttons, HDD Model and More

PS4 Pro is Coming, So Are Leaked Vids

Thursday, November 10th will see the launch of the first of the 2.0 consoles of this generation. The PS4 Pro will hit retail shelves and alongside it comes more than 30 games that will be fully optimized to take advantage of the 4K/HDR capabilities of the new console. As the release date gets closer, some videos and images have been leaked into the web. Today, we have some of those for you.

The videos come from Twitter user Juniper Roth, who managed to purchase an unit from a Walmart store that broke the street date. He shared three new videos. The first showcases the console’s mechanical buttons in action. Check it out here:

The second is a look at how you can extract the hard drive to swap it. You can view that below:

The third shows the loading time on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

What’s interesting are the pictures about the Hard Disk Drive (which you can see below). It allows you to identify the precise make and model. It’s a Hitachi HGST Travelstar 5K1000, model number HTS541010A9E680, part number 0J38013, identifying it as a standard model. Its rotational speed is 5400 RPM. Interestingly, the specific model uncovered here on the PS4 Pro appears to be still the older SATA 3GB/s HGST Travelstar 5K1000, while currently HGST sells a newer iteration with the same part number and a SATA 6GB/s interface.
