Play Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration in the first week and get free credits
The wait is almost over, PS4 owners. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration finally drops on October 11th for PS4, and we’ve found a way to get 100,000 free credits for the game (with thanks to GameInformer).
How, you ask? Well, all you have to do is play Rise of the Tomb Raider (on any system, not just PS4) while connected to an internet connection between October 11th and October 18th (11:59 PM PST). You’ll then get the credits, which you can use for Expedition Card Packs. Those are modifiers for the game’s modes, from Co-op Endurance mode and Lara’s Nightmare.
Rise of the Tomb Raider released on Xbox One and PC back in 2015 as an Xbox One timed console exclusive. It got rave reviews, and was even on some people’s Best of 2015 list. Our own review here at COGconnected gave the game high praise – check out our full take here.
The Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition has the original game but also includes a slew of extras including:
- the new “Blood Ties” single player content, VR support
- new Co-Op play for Endurance mode
- “Extreme Survivor” difficulty setting for the main campaign
- 20 Year Celebration outfit and gun
- 5 classic Lara skins
- all previously released Downloadable Content including: Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Endurance Mode, Cold Darkness Awakened
- 12 outfits, 7 weapons, and 35 expedition cards
There is also an Artbook edition that features a limited edition book with artwork from the game.
