More Games Added To The Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Library

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility List Gets Bigger

Earlier this month we shared with you how five new games were added to the backwards compatible list. The five games added were: Arkanoid Live ($9.99), Bayonetta ($19.99), de Blob 2 ($19.99), QIX++ ($9.99), and Of Orcs and Men (unknown). Last week, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb revealed on his Twitter that Call of Duty 3 is available in the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program. Now, we’ve learned four more Xbox 360 games are now playable on Xbox One.

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility featured (old and new)

Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb announced more games which include Call of Duty: World at War, E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme, Encleverment Experiment, and FunTown Mahjong. World at War is not the first Xbox 360 Call of Duty title now playable on Xbox One, as it joins Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Major Nelson also confirmed that all backwards-compatible Call of Duty titles can now be purchased directly from the Xbox One. Before this, some needed to be purchased through Xbox.com.

If you own any of the four games added to the backwards catalog today, they should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. Alternatively, you can buy them from your Xbox One console or through the Xbox.com links below.

  • Call of Duty: World at War ($20)
  • FunTown Mahjong ($10)
  • E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme ($10)
  • Encleverment Experiment ($10)
