All Platforms Can Get Their Hands On Any Major Battlefield 4 Expansion For Free
Hot off the heels of their “Road to Battlefield 1” campaign, EA and Dice set into motion a rather controversial promotion. They opted to give away DLC for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline, but these offers were incredibly short-lived. Players could get them within the span of a week, and they often only had one expansion they could receive. That changes today however, as they are all now free, so hurry your asses up and get your free DLC.
Major Nelson confirmed this, noting that the Battlefield 4 Expansions Second Assault, Dragon’s Teeth, China Rising, Naval Strike and Final Stand are all available free of charge on both Xbox platforms. They have also been confirmed to be free both on PS4/PS3, as well as on the Origin Store. Huzzah for free stuff! Dice has also confirmed that once you download these items, they are yours for good. You won’t require PSN or Xbox Live to take advantage of these deals, however you will need an active subscription in order to actually partake of these. They are also free for the rest of the week, so hurry to your console of choice’s store and snag this boatload of free stuff before it’s gone again.
You can download the expansions on your console as you read this, and they should tide you over mighty fine until Battlefield 1 drops on October 21st. If you haven’t, you can give our impressions a go-over, but the game is shaping up to be a pretty fantastic experience, all things considered. Each of these expansions is also normally fifteen dollars, so hurry and snag these killer deals before they’re gone again next week!
