The Last Guardian Receives New Trailer At Gamestop Expo
Gamestop Expo is currently underway, and it brings a shiny, brand new trailer for the highly anticipated yet perpetually delayed PS4 title The Last Guardian. Actions speak louder than words, and in the latest trailer, we get to see more interactions between the main character, and The Last Guardian’s unique supporting character/beast, known as Trico, a baby Gryphon.
The trailer shows off more of the dynamic between the Trico and the main character, where it seems like it will serve more as a supporting cast member, aiding in platforming and helping the player complete challenges and navigate the labyrinth-like world of The Last Guardian. One intriguing item is the bizarre medallion that appears to have some sort of power over Trico, and it likely being how we control the beast throughout the game. You can peep the trailer below.
We were only slightly (read: massively) disappointed when we found the title was going to be pushed back further yet again, however it’s still very very close, and almost seems like we’re in a dream. The Last Guardian is a title that despite it’s numerous delays, has been eagerly anticipated for by a number of PS4 owners. This new trailer helps ease the pain ever slightly, but The Last Guardian needs to be in our hands now, and not next year. Did you hear that knock on wood? We didn’t either.
It’s going to be a long three months.
