A legendary (and reliable) industry insider says God of War 4 will be announced at E3 2016
Famed Industry insider Shinobi602, who has become well-known for accurately reporting on unannounced games in the past, now has dropped a huge one, according to GameSpot: God of War 4 will be announced at E3 2016. So bottom line: GOWÂ fans, get ready to take revenge all over again, as Shinobi602 is usually money.
Speaking on an episode of Video Game Sophistry, Shinobi stated that E3 2016 will be the “big coming out party for God of War 4.” But, this one might not feature Kratos as the main focus, as Shinobi hinted that the series hero up till now is “most likely” in the game, though he may not be the protagonist. Also, the new title might not be called “God of War 4,” according to Shinobi.
As we reported to you right here, word leaked earlier this year that God of War 4 was in the works, and that it would feature Norse mythology instead of the Ancient Greek theme of the previous titles. No word from Shinobi as to how true that is, but we will let you know if we hear any further info. Don’t forget, Sony’s E3 press conference is Monday, June 13th at 6PM PST (9PM EST). Our COGconnected crew will be there on location, so keep it locked right here homies!
