Ghost Recon: Wildlands Gets Release Date, New Footage at E3 2016

Ghost Recon Wildlands is shown off at E3 2016 with new footage and a release date

At Ubisoft’s E3 2016 Press Conference today, upcoming shooter title Ghost Recon Wildlands was shown off with a new gameplay video, showing what players can expect from the new title. We also were told the game’s release date – March 7th 2017 – meaning we will be doing Spec Ops raids on Mexican Drug Lords as early as Spring of next year.

The gameplay shows a player doing a raid on El Pozolero in a remote part of Bolivia, where the game will apparently be set. You use your intel and support from back at base to scope out your target, deploy drones, and eventually move in on your target.

In his opening speech for the game, Ubisoft’s Dominic Butler promised players the freedom to “do what you want, when you want,” with an environment that allows for a lot of movement off the beaten path.

The game will reportedly have a Solo Campaign as well as 4-player Co-op mode. It comes out on PS4, Xbox One and PC March 7th 2017.
