Quality Offerings On Deck For Games With Gold July
For those who have been curious about the offerings for Games With Gold July, worry no longer. Ekim, a known insider for Xbox, has tweeted a few items, presenting at least 2 titles that should be confirmed. The other two are still very much up in the air, though. Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Banner Saga 2, and possibly Warriors Orochi 3 X1 will all be available next month, according to ekim. You can see the tweet below:
The Banner Saga 2 stands out as a very interesting pick, seeing as the game is slated for its actual release in July. It is the next entry in the tactical RPG from Stoic, and features some heavy story elements and brutal gameplay. Fans of the first one should be stoked, as it looks like Stoic has tried to give fans more of what they loved about The Banner Saga. We also have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on deck as the Xbox 360 offering, and its a title that should require no introduction. Rainbow Six is known for it’s tactical gameplay, and the Vegas series presented an interesting step for the series. Hunting terrorists is always a blast, and come July, you should be able to do so for free, if ekim’s predictions are anything to go off of. Lastly, we potentially have Warriors Orochi 3, an entry in the popular Musou series. Players take on the role of one of many characters to defeat Orochi, the serpent king. It features of 120 playable heroes, and you can combine them into three person teams, making for some serious customization.
Naturally, this can be considered hearsay, but ekim is a known insider. The titles so far appear to be some choice offerings, with The Banner Saga 2 being the potential crown jewel of this july offering of games. I suppose we’ll see if ekim’s predictions are right or not, next month.
