The Destiny Rise of Iron DLC gets confirmed for PS4 and Xbox later this year
Today, Destiny fans had their suspicions confirmed, as the official Destiny website revealed that the next big content expansion is indeed going to be called Destiny Rise of Iron. You will remember that we here at COGconnected told you back in late May that this information had been leaked, but today’s announcement confirms what we thought.
As stated on the website, Rise of Iron will officially launch September 20th, and it will be on Xbox One and PS4. According to Gamespot, rumors before now have seemed to indicate that the Rise of Iron expansion will feature an all-new raid, and will be larger than both year-one DLC packs. A character was also apparently featured in a leaked promo image, shown wielding a hammer. This caused many to assume that a new type weapon will be introduced in the expansion – but it has not yet been officially confirmed.
