The teaser for The Last of Us 2 appears in Uncharted 4’s Epilogue

If you’re like us, you’ve been patiently waiting for The Last of Us 2 since the PS4 first saw the light of day. Well, we may have good news: in a story that would definitely be filed under the “Rumor” heading, gaming site Twinfinite says that, while playing Uncharted 4, they have found what looks a lot like a teaser for a The Last of Us sequel. Is that a clicking noise we hear?
According to their story, in the Epilogue to Uncharted 4, you apparently can see a poster on a wall that is partially obscured by a bunch of Polaroids (see above). The title ‘The Last of Us’ is recognizable, followed by the words ‘American Daughters.’
The character in the poster could be Ellie, BUT, if Ellie is immune to the infection, a gasmask makes no sense. As Twinfinite points out, this might be a story focusing on Ellie’s mother, which may account for the title.
Now, before you get too excited, notice in the image that there are the words ‘Dark Horse Comics’ at the bottom of the poster. This means it could be teasing a new comic series, not a game – not that that wouldn’t also be great, but still.
No matter what new story this teases, it should at least get any The Last of Us fans pretty pumped – E3 is just around the corner, and that is a perfect time to announce something new.
