Ratchet & Clank Pilot Portraits Coming to Dead Star, Along With Dead Star DLC
Celebrating the release of the first two add-on packs for Dead Star, developer Armature Studio announced a series of upcoming community events that bring Sony’s intergalactic heroes Ratchet and Clank into the multiplayer space shooter. The Dead Star DLC is called the Kurg Ship Expansion.
The Kurg Ship Expansion adds three new playable ships, featuring new gameplay mechanics and strategies, to the multiplayer space combat game as well as four additional pilot portraits featuring the Kurg species.
The Kurg Ship Expansion is priced at $4.99 on PlayStation 4 and Steam, with players able to try the new ships in Free Play mode before purchase.
The Ordo Robots Skin Pack provides players with additional customization options in the form of two new robotic pilot portraits and four new ship skins that can be applied to all ships in the game. Priced at $1.99, the Ordo Robots Skin Pack is now available on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
The stars of Ratchet & Clank are coming to kick some asteroid in Dead Star across a series of community events, celebrating the release of Ratchet & Clank for PlayStation 4 and Ratchet & Clank the movie.
Those who play Dead Star between Friday, April 29 and Monday, May 2 will receive an exclusive Ratchet Pilot Profile picture. Also, an exclusive Clank Pilot Profile coming to those who those who play between Friday, May 6 and Monday, May 9. These pilot portraits will be accompanied by additional in-game events that will occur throughout the above weekends.

Dead Star is now available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version is a free download for PlayStation Plus subscribers during April, after which it will be $19.99.
